Title:Study describes the effectiveness of adding nitrate in order to control sulfide generation (produced by sulfate-reducing bacteria) at plant-scale, it also provides the mechanism and supports the environmental adequacy of this strategy. After the addition of nitrate into the system, sulfide concentration reduced by 94.7% and 98.7 in the water and air respectively.
