Title:An alternative flow-chart for full treatment of wastewaters was developed to perform studies to determine the kinetics of autotrophic denitrification with sulfide–nitrate as electron donor-acceptor coupe. The results obtained showed that denitrification can proceed using sulfide as an electron donor at feasible rates however there is still need to perform further kinetic based studies to gain microbial aspects of the process and how to optimize it.
